Hello from Scotland

Post by WeeBugg »

Hi there, been browsing here and there for a while. Kinda been interested in outdoors since a kid, then I saw First Blood on a dodgy VHS tape in 1983/4, and bought a "survival knife" complete with compass in handle! (still have it fully useable 30 years later) Since then the end of the world, zombie apocalypse, breakdown of society etc has always had a little place in my heart, and while not fully prepared, I certainly have always been a way ahead of the game 8-)

Lucky enough to live as close to the edge of civilisation as possible, so getting away is easy, if just a little challenging because of family/work etc

Ha, snap ! My folks bought me a 'Rambo' knife in about 83/84 (ah, it was a simpler time when parents bought their children large knifes  ) and I've still got it. The compass got pulled out shortly after I got it but I keep it on my bedpost for burglars etc. I tend to sleep naked though so I would imagine that would be more scary than the knife !!!
