Recently read this book and was really interesting!! If there was ever a big food shortage then I think it would be very important to supplement our supplies with fresh meat, and this book goes through old techniques to catch game! For example a way to catch birds like pheasants it to scatter feed around an area where you have seen them and thread raisins and seeds on a long length of fine fishing line and peg it down then lay it over the feed, once the bird starts feeding it eats the line as well and is trapped, I know techniques like this sound cruel but in desperate times could be useful, well worth a read and full of usefull tips,
