The Duvet Burrito!!

As Mr Decaff is still in hospital and I've been struggling to change the duvet cover on my own, I thought this might come in handy for those of you that struggle also.

Our bed is a king size but the duvet is super king size and thus drapes to the floor on three sides making it a blooming nightmare to change. After getting more than a tad annoyed and swearing quite a bit, then after pegging one side of the duvet to the cover and still struggling I did a bit of a Google and found this fantastically easy way and IT WORKS.. I've used this new system 3 times now and it gets easier each time, takes a couple of minutes and job done!

If you put burrito method duvet into utube there are lots of videos showing how it's done.

Not strictly prepping as such but a definite sanity saver hope this is OK to post.

The way I always do it is to turn the duvet cover inside out, pinch the bottom corners and shake the duvet in on itself (if that makes any sense)

That's how we do it when Mr Decaff is around but I can't do it like that when on my own as its too big I end up a sweaty peeved heap this new way is quick and so easy, which will be handy when he's home and I need to change the duvet quickly so he can get back in bed.

Tried it yesterday...... I agree with Wombat, whoever came up with this technique needs to be hunted down and burnt at the stake for consorting with "Outer Planer Creatures".

Isn't it brilliant?! I used to end up sweaty, grumpy and knackered but now a couple of shakes and a roll over and ta-dah nice sorted bed
