Just got back from my local B&M store. They have these solid fuel stoves with the small tablets reduced from £1.99 to £1
My prepping consists of bugging out by bicycle so any comments are likely to be based on that scenario.

Thanks for this mate, I didn't reply at the time because I dropped everything and ran to the local B&M!
No, seriously, I sort of did. I bought six of them. Actually, I got eight of them. The metal stoves are a but useless to me, but the tablets are ace. There are twenty four in each pack and found that sticking a dozen of them in the pan at the bottom of my kelly kettle works a charm as a back up if I'm struggling to get a fire lit. It's also good to fire up a disposable barbecue if the included fire lighters fail (which they always do).

I have one of these, very much worth the money. Used it for three years, no problems what so ever.
