I bought some thicker-than-average (7 mil) 1 gallon Mylar bags from a user on here and I've been really pleased them.
However, because of the thickness they are quite stiff, and the corners very sharp and pokey. Once filled with heavy/dry goods, I stacked them in a corner of a room and was a bit heavy handed, and now i've managed to poke several holes in a few of them. What sort of container should I store these 1 gallon bags? I can't really use any buckets due to my limited space, but I have room underneath a double bed and/or a walk in wardrobe. I'm guessing plastic storage boxes would be best, but they'd need to be quite large due to the size of these 1 gallon-ers. Any recommendations/tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Storage of full Mylar bags
Re: Storage of full Mylar bags
Could you round off the corners a little with some scissors?
I have some plastic storage boxes with small wheels on them that slide under a couple of our beds. They are about half the with of a double bed so you can have them under at both sides.
Also, how full are you filling them? If they are not too full they may lay flatter for storage
