Hello all,

Thank you for accepting me to the forum, it's good to have a UK perspective on prepping.

I've become more aware of the world around me over the past few years or so and a growing interest in the outdoors and self sufficiency lead me to survival and prepping.

That interest has developed and over the last couple of months I've actively started to take action toward being prepared for the worst, but I'll admit it's going slowly.

I'm looking forward to getting some new ideas and contributing some of my own.

Good spot lil, it's the Corbridge Lion a stone sculpture found on a Roman site in erm... Corbridge!

I'm mad on the Romans think they were awesome. I'll google that lion, ty. I loved the Cramond lion found in Edinburgh.

I didn't know they'd found something similar in Edinburgh, googled it and it looks equally impressive.

The Romans were great, very intelligent and tough, I imagine their skills would be useful if the worst ever happens.

I mean, building an empire in sandals and without electricity or IT is impressive... mwah ha ha ha!

Living up on the Wall all winter in sandals & miniskirts is VERY impressive ! Bet they learned to knit fast !
