Hello and welcome. Perhaps you could share with us why you are interested in preparedness and what you have done in terms of getting started - other from finding us, of course! :D

I didn't want to use up all my conversation in the first line lol

Growing up in the 70s/80s I remember the fuel shortages and the power cuts, for me I think a SHFT sceanario is one where the utilities go down, whether through natural disaster, strikes or acts of terrorism.I want to be prepped enough that we can carry on until the Govt get things back to normal.

I've taken a first aid course through work and put a kit in the car and house. During the week I cycle everywhere so I also included a kit as part of my EDC. Starting small I've just started buying extra supplies when we go shopping.

I have a shed but needs a big clear out but I intend to store enough water for three days and work my way up from there.

Nobody knows I'm prepping (they'd all think I was nuts) so shhhh, ok? :)
