Absolutely, I'm near Edinburgh, married with 3 kids. I think society has become more fragile recently, I see the cracks appearing. The financial system worries me greatly and I dont think it would take long for the proverbial S to HTF when it goes belly up. Being prepared for social unrest is a priority for me (Comms, transport etc). I see the slower decline but its the immediate that concerns me the most.
