Prepper Education

Post by sfcfinchrs »

Hi All,

OK here is the deal.

I have had a few friends tell me that I should start doing Prepper Courses.

I could post my Bio yet this is not the time.

Needless to say I am a Yank that grew up in rural America where people prepared as a matter of course. Then I spent 20yrs in the US Army as A paratrooper.

I am what many would call a Frugal Prepper and a Practical Prepper.

So I am taking input on what the community here in the UK thinks.

BTW I am not looking to make a mint on this. All I would do is to ask a nominal time covering fee.

Thanks

You haven't given us much to give input on, old chap.

The outlines of your bio look good and would appeal to anyone who likes the more military end of prepping. I prefer the more self-sufficiency/community-building aspect, personally.

Why don't you develop a few course plans or curricula and post them here to gauge interest? I'd be happy to review or look at a business plan.

It sounds really good in principle. As we are a fairly spread out community, are you thinking of an online course of some kind? There are quite a lot of good books and resources around already, so you'd have to think how you'd make it worthwhile for someone to pay for your time. I can see that people would potentially be interested, based on your bio.

Well.... I just notice this reply was messed up.

Been thinking about this a bit now and to be honest I would rather we just attend gatherings of preppers and just share knowledge.

We have a caravan now and I am starting the workup to MOD it to suit our prepper needs.

Then we can hit the road and hopefully meet other preppers on our travels.

I will attempt to do write-ups on any mods I do.

Cheers all.
