I have always had a keen interest in the outdoors and survival and spent large chunks of my teenage life making fires and shelters,hunting and generally staying damp and muddy! My living situation has drawn me to the baron concrete expanse of manchester and only in recent months have i re kindled my interest in survival/outdoors.
My interest in prepping has been building for some time, i started to take action a couple of months ago sponging useful skills, buying the basics etc.
Through discussion with my mum it appears i am not alone in my thoughts within my family circle, she spent a part of her early 20's attempting to go self sufficient (not sucessfully!) but she shares and understands the drive behind being independent and being prepared.
I am hoping over the coming months to develop a more solid plan
