Bulk Buy Toilet Rolls

Post by gooner677 »

Hi,

Not sure what section to put this post.

I was going to bulk buy some toilet rolls. you can buy them in various quantities and the greater the amount obviously the cheaper per roll.

Has anyone tried these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144-TOILET-RO ... SwKtlWphC3

They work out cheaper than Asda own brand and are of equal or better quality

I imagine if the supplies stopped being delivered for a week or so in my little town toilet rolls would soon disappear off the shelves!

Thanks

We usually have plenty of this stuff stashed.

I'm a lot more easily pleased than Her Maj with bog roll but she's cool with this so it keeps the moaning to a minimum. If there was a situation that went on long enough bog roll could become the coin of the realm, especially after all the Dock leaves have been used.

18 rolls for £2.99 at B&M - I just buy as needed. Home and Bargain do similar one's for £3.20.

Are any of those deals better than 15p per roll?

Never mind, those eBay badboys are 14.6p each - delivered that's a slightly better and possibly worthwhile deal.

They need to be princess tested though, that's my problem.

To compare the prices a bit more you should be looking to see 1- How many sheets per roll, 2 - Is it two or three ply?

I've been buying the sainsburys basics rolls as Mr D still has errrm problems since his operations last year and granted it's not the softest out there but it's not sandpaper either, each roll is 2 ply, has 400 sheets and comes in packs of 6 costing 9pence per 100 sheets and we currently get through 18 rolls a month :?

I can't believe I just typed that information
