50p Preserving Type Jars

Post by Brambles »

Was in Home Bargains other day and they have a 500ml Kilner type screw top jar with one piece lid @50p. I wouldn't trust them for canning or bottling, but for jam, pickles or storage, I reckon they would be the tops.

They are great for jams and dry goods but definitely not suitable for pressure canning. What a bargain price!!
