Newbie Doing Some Research

Post by ScrapCarComparison »

Hi UK Preppers!

Popping in here to introduce myself and say hi!

I think I elaborated my first post a bit too much so doing a new one. You'll probably find me in the transport / bug out vehicles section!

Looking forward to getting some heads together!

Hi itsybitsy!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have personally watched hours of numerous documentaries and shows about prepping, survival and other related topics but have not started prepping. It is really intriguing and fascinating to watch though!

I am here to find out more information (hopefully with help from the members here) to combine some information for my work. I have seen that "UK Preppers has a zero tolerance policy with respect to any unsolicited journalists and reporters" however I am not a journalist or a reporter but would like to take it upon myself to create a blog post regarding the best UK Bug Out Vehicle choices with your help?

Would this be allowed?

No.

You clearly are here to further your own agenda and have no interest in being an active part of the community, rather you want us to do your work for you (which is incredibly rude) so I'm afraid we cannot help you.

Hi itsybitsy,

Sorry to hear that you feel I am being rude. I have the opportunity to spend my time writing about anything, so I figured why not something fun that I am also interested in myself? At the same time it's a great opportunity to work with a community to create something good that otherwise may not happen, rather than just my own research. I have already done a lot of my own research into this but nobody in the UK seems to have made a clear and concise guide to bug out vehicles which is what I am interested in doing!

There are a number of threads of people on here talking about different vehicles but there doesn't seem to be a great deal of depth in discussion regarding the reasoning behind them, more often simply recommendations of general experiences.

Nevertheless I appreciate you have your own forum rules. Please feel free to let me know if you have a change of heart. :tinfoil

You don't seem to be getting my point. This is a community, not a research repository for you to siphon off what you want for your own blog/website or business. You are only here to use the members to further your own agenda .That's not what we do here.

I'm locking this thread now.
