I'd like to carry an amber flashing beacon for breakdown.accident, I've looked at a few on ebay and theres some really cheap mag mount ones on there, I know you get what you pay for but I don't want to spend a lot for an EDC one to leave in the car.
Anybody got any suggestions??
Thanks.

Oh and read up on the laws on use I got pulled a few years back even though it was turned off.... I had a lawful reason to have it fitted but you need to know the rulings.. Around use
That said I've used mine at 3 accidents and always been thanked for my assistance and never had the lighting questioned

A bit left field but you can get some bloody good torches (1000 lms) that have a strobe function and can be fitted with a amber cap thingy..... 2 birds one stone etc...

Thank you all, that Britax looks pretty bright for it's size, it's going to have to wait a week or two though, I'm skint now from Christmas.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

they are OK but not a patch on the 12v powered units but several can be used to good effect especially to fend off a broken down car

Thanks again for the input, I've actually still got my old Triplight beacon (same as Kojaks teardrop) with yellow and red lens (how it come in the US back in the day) but I can't get the bulbs for it here so no spares.
