Hi all im Ric, am 25 kinda new to the preppering scene, have always been and outdoorsy kinda person, i do a lot of hiking and walking and camping, i have walked in most parts of the uk. I was a cadet then a cadet instructor and then went on to do a stint in the army where i found my love of military/combat surival.
I guess my eyes were opened when we had the London bombings, i knew there was terrorism in the world but it was always on the news not 20 min from work. The effect that it had on the country shocked me, then we had all the drama with there being no petrol and well lets face as a country in my opinion and certainly locally we were left to fend for ourselfs as the goverment frankly let us down. Dont worry im not going to start bashing the goverment, also the events that are taking place around the wolrd which seems to be on a weekly basis Japan,Libya etc these events have made me aware that the world and certainly society are not as stable and rosy as most would think.
I am looking at prepping so that what ever nauture/Mr tailban/the goverment/Society can throw at me will just be a walk in the park, to be able to survive in spite of any event.I hope this has not bored you too much.
Thanks Ric
