Sawyer mini bladder substitute in Poundland.

Post by Jamesey1981 »

I know there's a few people on here that use sawyer minis, and the real weak point in them is the plastic bladder, so spares are handy, you can of course get them from sawyer, or use a normal bottle, but just as a heads up, Poundland have two packs of folding water bottles for a quid in their picnic section, they're only 400ml and I can't imagine they'll last that long but they don't feel too bad and they're only 50p each, so I got a couple as spares, they do fit, I've checked.

I've got loads of these. They last surprisingly well! I have one in with the Aquamira Frontier Pro water filter that's in my kit.

I'd not seen them before, but I thought it was worth a punt for a quid, they're not as thick as the sawyer ones but they don't feel flimsy.

Great find! I popped in to the one local to work for a nose this week & grabbed a few 10L collapsible water carriers that I guessed would be worth a £ each to keep handy.

I've got a few of something similar, I've not actually tried them yet, much to my shame.
