I'me wondering if anybody else carries a strobe or beacon (light) in their EDC,bug out or get home kit. I have a strobe (old one) in my bug out and a small beacon (similar to a flashing cycling light) on my GHB.
On the off chance of needing to be seen at night if theres a drama.
Anybody got any thoughts on the idea?

Thanks guys, they both look interesting.

definitely a back up here too, you wouldn't want to be on a night hike with it, I just leave mine in my EDC its perfect for that.pseudonym wrote:I have the Mark 1 version. A great back up headtorch.xplosiv1 wrote:I use a petzl e+lite 2, its ultra compact at only 27g you dont even notice its there.
It's surprisingly effective for such a small package and can hold its own to a point but the big boys deffo pack a much stronger punch.

The nearest spec I found suggests it's good for about 9 hours on full, that seems a lot considering it's 2 button cells.
Is that about the running time you get?
Thanks

Previous use, age of 2032s, climate all play a factor. I wouldn't want to walk a long route with it but for set up, cooking, etc it'll do fine.
