Hello from Stafford

Post by Shrapnel »

I've been developing skills and knowledge over the years which will be useful for a SHTF situation and also been storing essential food and learning how to become self sufficient through growing veg, herbs, rearing chickens, hunting etc. I dont watch TV or buy newspapers and prefer to be making tools or leather crafts in my workshop than veg out in front of a screen
Hoping to pick up/ share tips and maybe network with others in this location. I have comms but need to develop a broader understanding of the capabilities of the actual radios.

Welcome, I'm new here as well but I have a ham licence and can help with radio questions if you need, I'd recommend you found a local club and took your test tho, then you would have a local support network of people who can help. In amatur radio it is very comman to meet other preppers, we just call ourselves "anolog radio users".
