Talking Water

Post by Lemne »

I have quite a few questions here.

I am firstly planning for an at home situation. I've been reading about water needs and the suggested amount is 3.75 litres each a day per person/pet. We are 2 adults and three dogs so looking at 19 litres per day. That seems a lot. So that would be 10 x 25 litre water containers.

Next is containers. I was thinking as above to use 25 litre containers. Is this too big? Any advice on what make or what to look for. Also do you keep water stored ready or fill up as things unfold.

I have been looking at a portable filter bottle, specifically this one ...https://watertogo.eu/water-purification-methods/. Is there anything else I should be considering.

Purification. I know about the tablets but again am looking for advice.

Anything else you would like to add.

I have moved this into the ' water' section in food and nutrition.Take a look around there and you will find the answers you seek!

Sorry. I found the water section after I posted this so couldn't delete it as it had gone to mod.

No apology necessary.Water is a topic that we don't discuss much,so it may direct folks towards that discussion.
