Hi All,

Thank you for letting me join this wealth of knowledge.

I live in Devon, and have been a on and off prepper for a few years now but first time on a forum.

I would love to own a property in the sticks and live off grid but not financially possible at this time.

Currently working on getting my preps to the one month and beyond level, working on a little and often approach as time and money allows.

Hello Chewy, welcome to the forum. You've got the right priorities to fit in well here - get up to one month and beyond with little and often, and take the next step when you know a bit more.

There's lots of choices on here, and friendly people to point the way.

Hi, welcome. Little and often, one month bug-in is definitely priority and way to go. I try to mainly buy what's on offer. If nothing's on offer I can eat what I've already got. I don't strictly separate day to day food from preps. I have a kitchen cupboad, in the corner so it's quite wide as it goes right back to the left, behind the kitchen sink. Anything with over a year shelf life goes on the bottom shelf. Top shelf is stuff I could do with using, and stuff I use regularly. The stuff to the left is hard to reach, so older stuff goes back there, on both shelves.
