Power banks

I have two, but they are both pretty heavy. Doing some research.

Ones I have
AOPAWA Solar (for BOB) 26,800 mAh 347g micro USB in, both outputs USB-3 or 2

SHENGRUI (used for travelling) 26,800 mAh 450g USB-C and micro usb inputs. Both outputs USb-3 or 2

Leads needed: USB 2 or 3 to micro to charge the powerbank
iphone lighning standard cable with USB 3 or 2.

Obviously the lighter ones have less capacity. It seems roughly proportional, but my travelling one is 100g heavier for the same capacity, and I never need to charge my phone off it 5 x without being able to charge the powerbank. So it's overkill and heavy even for what it's capacity is.

I think 5,000 would do, but 10,000 would be better.

Anker do one but it's 134g. Might be better off with a 10,000 after all.

Cheers for the replies. I think I'll probably go with Anker, or my lodger told me about Juice from Argos last night, he showed me one. I think I'll forget the 5000 ones. 10,000 is a good size. 200g is fine, my current travel one is 450!

One thing about the Juice is their USB-Cs are Out as well as In, which isn't essential but it's an extra most makes don't have.

I’ve got ( we’ve got);about a dozen power banks. 3 Ankers,and then B +M Goodmans. Tablets and phones will charge fine. The main reason for them is for emergency lighting though,so no problem there.Direct power and recharging batteries. All good. I use them regularly,and recharge immediately after use ,then rotate them. In Summer of course ( or a fair sunny day) solar charging deals with that.

Don't forget bto check if your power banks support what ever your charging my new mobile comes with fast charge via Qualcomm....

Not the end of the world if it doesn't but shtf when time is pressing the ability to bang a lot of charge in quickly be it mains / car based charger or power bank ... Or simply charging quickly whilst using any public based power supply is a handy thing to have

No purely as I don't trust the battery especially the lipo cell based units

I don't charge them unattended either. Bar solar in the middle of the garden
