Don’t use that much oil in honesty.

I mentioned to a customer that I'd used old cooking oil in a simple lamp for re-enactments. She gives me a few litres every so often. We don't tend to do much deep frying though in all honesty , mostly just a quick splash to brown onions and the like and that can't be recycled but in general I like the idea.

Used to run my diesel car on 50/50 mix of cooking oil using 3micron sock filters from Ebay.
Apparently that is illegal now, another loop hole closed off.

We don't use much oil either , i buy the little filippo berio i think it is spelt we get the little small pump one and i just got 2 and they last us well over a year , if i do fry most times i spray a kitcehn towel wipe the pan and that is it , i will say i do add a little when doing and omelette but again i throw in a knob of butter to get the colour , i am the same with mushrooms and onions i like a little butter they colour nicer i find .

I will say i watched a few videos on uses for old oil but well not sure it would be worth our time
