Hi folks, nice to be here.
I was asked to come join you all my a chap over on youtube.
I dont want to do any direct advertising here as I'm not sure how people take to that sort of thing in an introduction, but I am Royston Upson owner or a company called Survival Instinct UK which is a tiny little company aimed at UK preppers.
I have known for a long time that things are going wrong, now I know lots of people come in to prepping for different reasons, and I'm not going to get into them. But I saw a need for someone to research what we would need should SHTF. I was tired of all the American stuff which actually has little use for the UK. Face it as much as we'd like an assault rifle, we cant have one, most people may struggle with getting an air rifle these days.........
Food in the UK isn't cheap, and for that matter all of the equipment needed for long term survival isn't cheap, but it can be done and it can be done on a shoe string if that's all you have.
I'm just happy that there are others out there who have their eyes open and are looking at the same fan I am, just waiting for the dung to be flung and knowing when to duck.
Hope that wasn't to much of a long winded introduction, but it's about as straight forward as I could do.
Royston.

Hi, welcome to the site. You've posted some good videos on Youtube and I'm gradually working my way through them.
How did the online chat thing go the other week ?

HI.
The skype forum is doing ok thanks, a bit slow at first but am now filling the 9 spaces a month.
The TNSradio.com show on fridays 7-9 is doing well and has generated a lot of interest in the whole prepping idea, even from people who may not have looked at doing anything in the past.

Hi Royston,
Looks a great site - I'll be working through that (in between going to work).
As someone brand new to prepping I'd like to say a big thanks to everyone. It's amazing how much information has been put together, like on this site and yours, to help people. I've learned more in the last fortnight than in a very long time and I really appreciate the work that has been done by people who have these skills already.

Doh! I thought Royston Upson was a place, and was thinking, "Hmmm, I've never heard of that, wonder whereabouts in the UK it is?"
Anyway .... Welcome to UK Preppers.
