Well that was short and not so sweet
Put the house on the market, sold within 10 days, probably could have got more but then we are on oil and the fuel prices rocketed and buyer wanted to convert to gas and he was no chain. The whole world situation means that fewer properties are being marketed. Found one and then discovered in teeny tiny writing on the listing that it was a listed building, found another only to discover on viewing that it was a prefab with an outer block wall, beautiful area, but the build itself was too risky for us. Pulled out of the offer and taken off the market for now. Very sad that my greenhouse is now empty, might have to buy some tomato plants and pepper plants, as I am a bit late to plant seeds but still have the fruit trees and bushes but probably will not bother with anything else. Concentrating for the rest of the year on non food preps, guttering around the shed and more water butts, upping home security a bit more with cameras covering the rear of the house and not just the side and front although anyone wanting to plough their way through the overgrown field at the back full of huge brambles and nettles would need to be brave. Would also like to replace the back door as its uPVC and although we have an alarm, and an up to date barrel lock it would be easy to break. Food preps need to go back to shelves rather than boxes under beds and buckets in wardrobes and I am debating fitted "wardrobes" or several freestanding storage units.
Growing old disgracefully!

Sorry to hear it all collapsed, Medusa. Sounds like you didn't want to keep it on the market after you pulled out from the offer? I hope it means another property that suits you well will be coming onto the market later on.
