Finally a Uk based site for this stuff!So about me? errr....
I'm just a regular guy who has become more and more interested in disaster planning,survival,bush craft and general preparedness over the last few years,and the reason this interest has stirred in me=
"This world really seems to be going to s**t!"
... now don't get me wrong,I'm not a negative person,happily employed and married with a host of hobbies and friends,however with the collapsing monetary system,corrupt governments,hiking food and fuel prices,dumbing down of an entire generation by elitist leaders,the ever widening gap between those with and those without,it really does seem it's only a matter of time till we'll be needing these "preparedness skills",
be it civil unrest (my guess) or a dramatic shift in weather patterns or any of the many other impending reasons we could slip into the grip of an apocalyptic/teotwawki situation,I'm gonna be ready!
Not to mention that just being prepared for the worst makes regular life so much easier day to day,
I have my BOB pretty much sorted (maybe 60-70%) and a basic EDC that goes with me work or play.
Really looking forward to picking up new ideas here and sharing,thanks for having me
