Brioche

I thought I had posted this here, but I think it may have been deleted when the forums were restored, anyway:

I know a lot of the people on here keep chickens and if not with all those rescue chickens people are getting from battery farms you are bound to know someone with too many eggs and running out of ideas how to use them.

Brioche
You will need:
400g of strong white flour
8g of yeast
5g fine salt
90ml of warm milk
100g of butter
4 eggs
2 table spoons of caster sugar

To Glaze:
1 egg
2 table spoons of milk.

(you can use a mixer if you don't want to make it by hand)
To make the bread add the flour, yeast, sugar and salt to a bowl and mix with a knife (everything dry).
Add the warm milk and mix with a knife
Add the butter and mix with a knife.
Beat the eggs together then add to the bowl and mix with a knife.

Flour a surface then empty out the bowl, then flour your hands (it can be sticky) and knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
put it back in the bowl and cover with clingfilm and leave over night (it will double in size)
The next day split the dough in two and shape into rectangles, on the tray you attend to back on.
Lightly flour the dough and cover it in a plastic bag, somewhere warm for 4 hours.

After 4 hours preheat over to gas mark 6.
Beat an egg with 2 table spoons of milk, and use a brush to coat the dough with it.
Bake the bread at gas mark 6 for 10 minutes, then turn the heat down to gas mark 4 for 20 to 25 minutes.
When done the bread should be golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.

It should looks something like:
