Afternoon all,
Ive managed to get myself a 10l backpack, im looking to fit it out as and EDC, generally i am about a 20min drive from home when at work, however it is becoming more common for me to go out of the office, im looking to use this 10l backpack as an EDC to keep in the car, as it is always with me whenever i am further than walking distance from home, what do you guys think i should include?
Cheers

Compass + map of your area
2 mountain house meals
4 packets of instant coffee or tea or hot chocolate
Brass wire
Leatherman
ZEBRA 10CM pot
Two lighter
Magnesium fire starter
char cloth
Wouxun KG-UVD1P + AA case (cheap 2m/70cm hand held transceiver also doubles as a radio for news as it receives on 76-108MHz)
Wind up AA charger with phone adaptor.

Small first aid kit
Mobile phone with miniSD(or what ever) card with encrypted copies of all your important documents.

That all I think is really needed no matter what happens.

Re: Tips for 10L EDC
I guess in depends what you need I know the A3 down this way was a block of ice in the winter and there were so many cars scattered over the road it was nearly imposable to get through. The police were taking people to a sports centre for the night and stopping trafic. Some people were choosing to stay with their cars, I know I'd want to be well equipped (and I was, I drive all other the place for work and had no issues other then another car hitting my parked car when I was doing a job)

I can't believe you are giving out such bad advice.
Everyone knows it should be Salt & Vinegar or Prawn Cocktail flavour crisps.
Be lucky
