Seven OceanS Emergency Food Ration is primarily designed to provide a balanced diet for survival at sea for use onboard liferafts and lifeboats. However, the long-life biscuits can be used in any survival situation requiring a concentrated, long life emergency ration. The biscuit ration requires no preparation and may be eaten directly from the box.
Each 500g gives 10,300 kJ or 2,500 kcal and contains the highest possible ratio of balanced nutrition compared to volume. Seven OceanS Ration is compressed into tablets of approx. 27.8g. Each package of SOS (500 g net) contains 18 tablets packed in 9 bars with grease-proof paper. The 9 bars are packed under vacuum in air- and water-tight alu-foil. This unit is protected by a water-repellent cardboard box.
