Last night I was reading Joy Larkcom's Grow your own Vegetables (brilliant book can’t recommend it enough) when I came to the section on chilli’s, where she says;
''Towards the end of the season uproot remaining plants before frosted. Hang by roots in a frost free shed or greenhouse.’’
I’d assume it’s an over-wintering method, anyone ever tried it?
Hanging Chilli’s Up by the Roots?
Hanging Chilli’s Up by the Roots?
Hi
I think this is a way to continue to ripen all remaining chilli's that are on the plant...
Not 100% sure though
Cheers
