Does anyone remember buying lighter fluid in little rubber teats?
They were maybe an inch and a half long and made of rubber. You cut off one end and then squeezed it into your lighter.
I was wondering if they still made them as they would be perfect for survival kits and BOBs. It would not evaporate and could be used to fill a Zippo or straight onto some kindling to start a fire.
Zippos dry out after a relatively short time so you could keep a dry Zippo in your kit and then use the refill as and when you need it. The zippo would be good for dozens of lights before it dried out again.
Very small, lightweight but a possible lifesaver. Any thoughts?

Not seen them for years, not sure if they still make them.

Remember hearing a discussion on TSP on this very topic a few weeks back they mentioned a mini zippo fuel canister for your keyring. May be worth a look.

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Re: Lighter Fluid
I have a tin of lighter fluid in my main bag and have dozens of peanut lighters.
I also carry disposable lighters, Magnesium Fire Powder, PJ Balls, firesteels and even have a fire piston which wifey bought me for my birthday.
I just thought the small rubber ones would be good for survival tins even though I have a peanut lighter in all 3 of my tins and wondered if anyone knew if they still made them.
I will certainly look into the suggestions so thanks for that.
