It's nice to be amongst the like minded.
I am a prepping mum. I started prepping as a way of being a little ahead of the price rises to come.
I store food and household items with the help of price comparison sites. I recently purchased items to aid in my prepping for example Kilner jars, Mylar bags, a Triangia stove, wind up radio, and torch.
The biggest lesson learned is keeping things simple. This has meant getting rid of the useless items accumulated over the years.
I was tempted to purchase an American Canner but decided to stick with smaller jars and the pressure cooker I already own. Prepping is a mindset, and I am happy to moving in the right direction.
I look forward to learning from you, and hope that others can learn from me. Keep prepping.

Welcome "wideawake"
But, there is a lot of wisdom in that lesson, a major de-clutter now and a cut back on everything you need and do is a very good prep, it will mean that when the time for transition arrives you are one step down already.
