Hi there everyone and thanks for letting me join the site, I found it today and am so impressed!
So, I'm British but have just moved out to Germany with work and this is the first time Ive had my own house, so my prepping has begun.
I'm really looking forward to having a chat, meeting some like minded people and swapping some ideas. Oh, any tip's on how to stop Mrs 7P's thinking I'm slightly mental will help too.
Happy prepping folks
A big hello from a Brit abroad

welcome. We are a friendly bunch and most of us are prepping with the OH thinking we are mad!
(actually DiamondLil IS a bit mad ).
Hopfully you'll find all the information you need - if not just ask.

Thanks preppingsu for the welcome;
Discovering this site gave me the kick in the as* I needed and today I started my plans for real, I actually found it quite addictive building up the supplies. Being pay day helped too. I think having a cellar the size of Wembly stadium is also a bonus!!!
Starting small but it'll come. Once again, cheers everyone

Try not to do too much as you might suffer from prepper overload. Take it easy, read lots and build up slowly, but don't let it be all consuming. Just by thinking about prepping puts you in a better position than most people.

Hello and welcome
Re: A big hello from a Brit abroad
Hello itsbitsy, from a chilly Germany.
Yep, the cellar is dry preppingsu, however, just to be on the safe side, Ive put a few wooden pallets down and put the essentials in waterproof plastic boxes.
Thank you for the advice, i'll definately take it on board reference doing too much too soon.
Also, once I explained to OH that it wasnt in case of TEOTWAWKI, just in case the shops are closed or we get the odd power cut, she was on side, even adding a few bits from the kitchen - bonus!

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Most ladies/gents here who have partners not of prepper thinking just quietly get on with it and save the day when there's the need!
