just been reading about " solar stirling plant " has anyone else heard of it ? the reviews look interesting http://www.nbadraft.net/solar-stirling- ... -generator

Just watched the blurb on it sounds intresting and at £38.75 for the disstruction might even tempte me or prehaps we could spread the cost and a few of us put in then we can all help each other make them

Just a note of caution. Stirling engines need to be precision engineered to really get the most out of them. I would do some more research on this as whilst you might make something for $100 it won't be saving you big on your energy bill.

It's snake oil really. There is a massive solar farm in the US running properly engineered Versions of these see here:

I wouldn't waste the money on their 'plans'.
