First post here.
I have been interested in prepping for some time and am thinking maybe it is a side effect of of my love for post-apocalyptic movies and the 'what if' factor.
I am ex armed forces and currently work in the emergency services.
I hope to post here often and contribute.

Welcome aboard Gledders, some very useful stuff in here, but like so many places on the net it needs hunting out

I am ex armed forces and currently work in the emergency services.

Which branch of the RAF were you with Gledders? and which service are you with now?

A lot of folks are concerned in one way or another about living or working in the bigger cities in the UK, so would like to hear your take on this.
