I must apologise for posting without proper introduction and ranting off...., it's TAX year end and we just hate the fact that we are trapped in the box!!!!
My family - lovely wife Amanda and boys Oscar (9) and Dawied (7) moved from South Africa to Cornwall in 2008. She knew this area and lived here a while before we met. Our main reason was to get away from the out of control crime situation in SA. Cornwall serves us well in that respect!
We grabbed the opportunity when a coffee shop (now called the Victoria House Cafe) became available in Port Isaac. Our boys are here in a small community school and we fell in love with the little village.
Village life can have its ups and downs, but we are happy to deal with that. What got us is probably what gets most of us up the spine - the SYSTEM invented to sustain the rich and blood-sucking politicians. We are trapped and are actually hoping for an apocryphal to shake this world back to humble order!
My wife can do anything, especially telling me what to do - and almost anything else! I have ten very good working fingers and do my best to earn an income as an artists ( i know it sounds ridiculous) and a published writer (even worse!).
If we can get the chance we'll jump at a off-the-grid life!

Hello and welcome.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
