Hi all. Last weekend the wife and I both got Samsung Galaxy S2 phones, which for the uninitiated is a smartphone that runs the Android operating system. We both upgraded from 3-year-old non-smart phones.
Can anyone recommend any good prepper apps? Either for Android, iOS, Blackberry or Windows?
Trying to find a decent off-line GPS waypoint/mapping app, but still looking.
Prepper apps?

Re: Prepper apps?
Nice phone, I have one of those.
Can you get an offline GPS app. Surely they need to know where you are in the first place. Or maybe I am not understanding what exactly you are after.
What sort of Prepper app are you after? When you go into MARKET you do a search. i searched for survival and found a few decent apps as well as a couple of free books.
Be lucky

Can't stand the phones, but a few people I know have them and have the following.
OpenOffice Document Reader - for reading Docs stored on the SD card.
Text Edit - for making impromptu notes.
Adobe Reader - for reading Docs stored on the SD card.
U.S. Army Survival Guide
Olive Office Premium - for reading and modifiying Docs stored on the SD card.
Knots Guide
Sky map - getting to know the stars.
Morse Code Trainer - not had much chance to play with this yet
Nexus Torch - Uses the camera flash as a torch.
Zombie Survival Guide - The advice is a bit lame but it has a function to turn the screen white as another torch.
Analog Compass
First Aid
What Knot
Motion x GPS
UK Tides
Solunar
SAS Survival
Hope that helps
