hello fellow preppers !!! i thought i was the only one !! im so glad i stumbled on this forum . my names dan and live in ,east sussex on the coast. ive been sort of prepping for many years, since living in Darwin in the Australian Northern Territory for nine years. Everyone there preps, as each year the monsoon cuts Darwin off from the rest of the world. Darwin was once vitually wiped off the map by Cyclone Tracy in 1974. it was chaos for months afterwards.
Most people had three months of food and a firearm in store. the main point of this is that everyone thinks its normal and sensible ,unlike here where even my close friends think it odd .
I shoot twice a week on the downs and fish when i can .Many of my friends will gladly eat the rabbits and Deer i shoot, but wouldnt think of buying food in for when waitrose is shut for good. most of them admit that when tshtf they will just come to my house !!! . Is that a familiar story ? Anyway heres hoping for a long and informative chat with like minded souls, regards Dan
