Found this website the other week and i am planning to do my intro. After reading a couple of topics about people hunting (Deer, Rabbit, Fox). How many people have actually dressed and prepared some form of animal to eat. Sorry if it sounds naggy just wondered.

Hi, I've shot, prepared and eaten rabbit, deer, pigeons and duck. Can't beat game pie I've got a little bit of venison left in the freezer now - it tastes too good to leave it in there for too long.

Its not naggy, its a really good question. I'm a vegetarian ... but if TSHTF in a really bad way, I'd eat meat, it'd be very close to the way we evolved as humans.

Many moons ago, when I *was* still a meateater, my partner dressed a rabbit in the kitchen. Erm, I have to tell you, I hid in our bedroom and wouldn't come down till all the blood had been cleaned away. I wouldn't eat it either I was a city girl, what can I say

As I have bushcraft as one of my hobbies I have so far dressed out, prepped, cooked and eaten: Salmon, Deer, Rabbit, Pigeon and Pheasant.

The eating bit was the more enjoyable for all the work undertaken prevoiusly

My dad was a butcher, I used to go help as a kid, got to say it's a different matter when you have to Kill/Clean/Butcher to the wholesale delivered carcasses butchers shops handle, which are just large peices of meat, but I could handle it I'm sure , so long as rats, cats, and dogs are off the menu.

Loads! in fact i butchered and vac packed 2 seeker deer yesterday we shot a while back. As we run at least 12 courses a year in game prep it seems to be getting more and more popular even with veggies who think just in case like Arzosah. My daughter is veggie but can still skin and dress rabbit, fish, pheasant and deer! (with a bit of cajoaling)

i can do any fish you can name , but thats as far as ive got . i would be interested in doing others just in case i need to .

I have never done it, but I know all the theory. My new girlfriend has dressed all kinds of meat and knows about animal anatomy through working in a vets practice. I will shoot it, she can prep it, we can eat it.
