insulating diesel & propane tanks

a few months ago i bought a holiday cottage in a remote part of the yorkshire dales talking to one of the locals he said they had problems with diesel & propane tanks durring severe cold ie -18 the diesel if for the back up generator propane for cooker was thinking of moving the inside garage & wrapping them with insulation anyone got ideas

Propane Tanks. Propane still can vaporize down to -42 degrees celsius The regulator might freze, but wrap in bubble wrap. And keep it dry.

Diesel, put some Anti Wax Fuel Additive in the tank
