I can't remember where I got the idea but I made this micro stove (fits in an old Blackberry Bold leather case) out of galvanized steel. It was very quick and easy and once put together you can burn an esbit/hexamine cube on it or even a tea light just to keep things warm. I keep it in my last resort Viper Tac Pack.

The problem with admitting there's a problem is having to wipe the sand off your face and do something about it.
