steel frame rucksacks

Post by hazel88 »

Hi I am looking for someone to explain to me how you carry a child in a steel frame rucksack, if i need a specific size/type rucksack for my child (7months) I would want to be able to use it for until about age 5. Thanks x

Howdy. I use a little life carrier, they make a few models. Keep an eye for them on eBay as most people buy, use a handful of times and then get rid. These carriers can be in the hundreds of pounds new, so an eBay bargain saves a fortune. They are easy to use, but please don't think of them as universal till a certain age. My little man is 14 months and quite large, but since he was 7 months my partner hasn't been able to use the carrier. Just too heavy. I struggle picking him up in it now, and I am used to throwing full beer kegs about. Some of the bigger retailers stick these, try going in and asking for a demonstration to give you an idea of the weight.
