Pretty much a post to NickDutch I think. But feel free to chip in if you know
Saw the "sprouting kits" in a health food shop today and remembered seeing a post by Nick (i think) saying how he had 7 jars on the window sill, and processed them daily for fresh sprouting seeds.
Could anyone offer and tips or a how to guide on this?

Hiya, When I grow sprouting seeds for eating as 'sproutlings' (made up word!!) I keep them in the dark. A jam jar, with the seeds in, with muslin over the top of the jar held in place with an elastic band. I rinse and drain the seeds/sproutlings with tap water at least twice every in every 24hrs. I have put them on a window sill to go a bit green sometimes, near the end, if I want them to go green.
