Hi from North Yorkshire

Hi, I'm from the top of North Yorkshire.
I'm not what you would call a prepper, I usually take life a day at a time!
However I am considering a bit more prep, mainly to overcome issues such as severe weather and long term power outages.

I'm in a good position already, live in a rural area, I drive an old Fourtrak with knobbly tyres and an engine that runs on anything oily...
I have a large shed on a farm, a caravan hidden at the back of a shed on another farm, a horse, a tractor, access to 300 sheep, hundereds of pigs and 1000tonne of potatos.
I'm a keen shot with the air rifle for pest control and have a whippet that catches rabbits.
Not to mention the keys to 2 cold war bunkers....
This makes me sound like a right gypsy!.

In the event of some sort of disaster, water is my main concern, I'm tempted to rack up some ibc's in the shed, however these would freeze in extreme cold....

Hi and welcome, sounds like you will be alright in a SHTF scenario if you can get the water sorted How would the animals access water ? Oh and if do end up all bugging out to yours im not peeling 1000 tun of tatties :O
