How to make a signalling mirror/helleograhp

Post by wildadventurer »

To make this you simply need a drill and a empty twiglet box (round base) you simply remove the cap and base the inside of the bottom should be pushed into the tub lid this will create a flat mirror within a red surrounding then drill or punch a hole in the center

Then your done

This mirror can be used to communicate with planes helicopters and other peppers at the medium to short range

If you ever have a HDD fail on you, don't throw it away. Get a screwdriver and open the case, the platters make great signalling mirrors :)

Bottom of a drinks can and a toblerone is good for making a signal mirror, not easy to do morse with though, but OK for getting someones attention, probably not much good inthe UK as you need the sun to shine ;)
