anyone had success from freecycle?
Hi, i have just put up a wanted post for a handheld cb/car install on freecycle fingers crossed someone has one laying around in the loft or shed, next thing will be camping/survival equipment, never know whats out there that people do not want, so anyone else got anything for free that would be usefull?

Solar shower, camping saucepans, brand new Whitney wools blankets, loads of gardening stuff (compost bins, pots etc), old curtains which I took the linings off and lined my curtains for extra insulation.....
Yep, so I've had pretty good experience. But if someone is offering you have to be pretty quick off the mark to get it and always remember to offer some stuff too not just keep asking for stuff- it's only polite!

, we have used the site loads to get rid of stuff, we are in our 3rd house in 4 years and somehow it doesnt matter what you buy it doesnt suit the new house, loads of baby stuff aswell,decorating stuff no longer needed.... its great to pass things on rather than throw them away.
It was only by reading up on here i thought i would put a wanted post up and see what comes along, to be fair i forgot about it untill i joined this site
