Other halves panic bag/GHB/Grab bag

Post by Maddosammo »

Hi guys I'm trying to put together a panic bag/GHB/GO bag for the OH as she's off to uni next year like myself and want her to be safe while she is there with the option of being able to get home or to a safe place if necessary.

The reason I'm posting this is ,has anyone got any ideas of a small (ish) bag that she can use, which she can keep in here everyday bag and then use this bag and contents solo or in conjunction with here everyday bag and supplies.

Also has anyone got any ideas of supplies that can be in the bag.

Thanks in advance. From me and my other half.

Happy prepping.

EDIT: by everyday bag it would be here back pack/satchel as she does not use a "hand bag" should have made that more clear.

Get her the same as yours and stock it identically, make sure she can use all of the items inside. That way, she and you know what each other carries.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

I suppose a lot depends on what you are planning to put in it.
But if its something she is carrying with in her back pack you don't want it to be too big, heavy or lumpy.

If she is a girlie girl what about something like this

Nobody would think it was anything other than a cosmetic bag!

In would be mines huge. Bigger than what I would want her to carry after all she's not the paranoid prepper I am.

Thanks sue. Someone on the Facebook group recommended something like that. Which I will most likely go with.

Yes suggestions would be very nicely accepted. Already have a basic idea but need to plan before I can get them money to implement them.

EDIT: I already know I am putting some security things in there such as a pepper spray type thing which I found that to a link to something else on here.

Any here's a link http://www.c-p-p.co.uk/product/asp/Prod ... f/page.htm that's more for uni specific as where she intends to go like most places is a but on the ruff side.

I'd put a personel alarm on the bag as well that way if anyone trys to grab her or her bag it will let everyone in a large area know, memory card/stick with all her info on it and also a small address book with names and numbers on it in case the memory card/stick and her phone are nicked pre paid credit card, lighter, small wind up torch, metle combe(can be used as a saw) and a multi tool thinging with nail file for when she breaks a nail ( sorry its a girl thing) I have never yet heard a man swear cos he broke a nail.
