Newbie from St Andrews / Edinburgh

Post by LizardWizard »

Hey there all you preppers, I am currently a student in St Andrews but live in Edinburgh during non term time, I am relatively new to prepping however I have quite a lot of outdoor equipment/ military stuff since I am in the OTC. I just thought I would pop in and say hi :)

If there are any other preppers in St Andrews PLEASE message me and we could practice survival skills together in the nearby woods.

Hello and welcome.
What are you prepping for?

Stay and be an active member and then it is more likely other members will want to meet up. Just a suggestion.... :D

Just major civil unrest, I'm trying to prep for as many things as possible I guess. For instance I have some potassium iodide for a little help during radiation events (I am trying to look for better stuff) and I have a homemade (sketchy I know :o ) gas mask for tear gas and other irritant gasses.

However most of my prep is for outdoor survival in case of major civil unrest. I came on here look for others advice on good ways to prepare for un-fun times but I don't have loads of money to make concrete shelters and store tonnes of food and water, I'm a student

Does anyone use a crossbow? Or opinions on crossbows?

From Edinburgh too, lots of good stuff on here, stay an active member and may even get a meet planned with the others soon.
