well finally had a proper practice with my crossbow, went shooting with the old man a lot more powerful then we expected lost a few bolts, got some stuck lol
it is a Armex titian 200lb compound crossbow if anything too powerful think i should have got a 175lb crossbow but will keep practicing to get better, load time is slow due to you need the cocking robe aid and you do need it,
crossbow
Re: crossbow
Out of curiosity, what is the recoil like?
I have a little 80lb self cocking crossbow that i put a stock on and that does the job nicely. I personally think that anything around the 150-200lb mark is a little overkill unless your long range target shooting.
Also, again out of curiosity, how heavy is the trigger?

very little recoil i have found but i am used to shooting guns so slightly different, trigger is medium i would say not to heavy but not light, completely different beast to the pistol bow i have fired a pistol bow quite often,
