Charcoal in you BOB
Charcoal has many properties because of the carbon contained within; it can be used to filter water, camouflage blades and many other things so I was thinking should I put some in my BOB to be used for these purposes or the array of other things that can do these jobs?

Matches/lighter + wood = Charcoal. Why carry it around?

Did think that, takes a while to get a fire going though to get good charcoal, carry it then you can run up to a pond use it and restock it later on?
