A few pics of my field kit, its a comprimise between survival , being able to build things and evasion.
I carry as much water as humanly possible plus rations so i have a buffer until im reliant on forageing.
Its not my definative kit as im always tweaking bits here and there :D

Looks good Bulldog... just one point, I'm a bit of stickler for it, I noticed your combat survival tin has a compass banded on top. Have a button compass inside it, the metal wont really affect it greatly as it point direction not accurate direction.

Your protractor compass wont like being around metal for too long!! ;)

Bulldog, where you got your survival pouch? I've just had a quick look and I can see a few available online, but just wondered where you got yours from in particular. Only, if it's still sold anywhere, then it's one more to look at and compare with others, just asking for when I start getting kit together.

The kit is an RAF Survival pouch, i bought mine off an ex special forces chap who was selling some of his kit so a few bits had been chopped and changed and i also added some water carrying bags.
Heres a links showing a complete kit for sale, i cant vouch for the link but it will give you an idea of price and kit content........actually im thinking of buying another as like survival tins i like to have one never to be touched in case of emergency and one for training.

Sorry, what happened there was, I was halfway between saying 'just wondering where you got' and 'where did you get', result = dilweed grammar! Must concentrate more.

Interesting info anyway, cheers. I don't yet know which combination of bags/pouches/tins I'll use for kit but all info is good info for comparison purposes.

Excellent kit there Doggy.

Can I ask how much that all weighs? I thought mine was heavy but yours looks like you would need a wheel barrow to move it.
